Guarantees

All of our products are a guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase. Check the product description for warranty information. The guarantee covers the product in full, subject to the purchaser using the product in a way that meets design purposes. Misuse of the product may invalidate this warranty. If the product is altered or modified after the sale, the product guarantee is invalid. Where you store when it is not in use may also have an impact on your mobility product’s warranty.  Please store the product in a dry place.

Warranty

This is to certify that your RMA Sport product is warranted for a period of 12 months from the date of original purchase. This warranty is not transferable. Should a defect or operating fault arise within this period please notify us immediately.   RMA Sport warrants that if a fault occurs within this period due to faulty workmanship or materials that the product will be repaired (or replaced at the Company’s discretion).

Any unauthorised modifications will invalidate the warranty. Parts which are subjected to normal wear and tear, accidental damage, neglect or misuse are excluded from this warranty. Normal wear and tear includes tyres, seat coverings etc. Component parts replaced outside this period carry a six-month warranty. (Standard terms and conditions apply for this period).

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all goods are regularly serviced. Please ensure that the products are serviced regularly (once per year). Please refer to the user manual for more information on how to service your product. If you do not service your product as instructed in the user manual RMA Sport reserve the right to reject a claim for a replacement product.

Your warranty cannot be transferred to another person. The contract of sale is between you and us. No other person has the right to enforce these terms of sale.

Product Descriptions

The images and descriptions listed on our website match as closely as possible to the product. Some colours may vary slightly due to manufacturing batches. RMA Sport is not responsible for these slight variations. We reserve the right to modify the product specifications where necessary.

Pricing, Payments, and Refunds

When providing payment card details, you confirm that you are the authorised user of the card and that you are authorising RMA Sport to take payment for the product or products you are ordering which includes the cost of the product(s), packaging and any delivery charges outside of the standard option.

Any refund will be issued only to the card making the original payment.

All RMA Sport prices are in Pounds Sterling. We do the utmost to ensure our prices are accurate at all times. Cancelled Orders

We aim to dispatch orders very quickly; therefore, if you need to cancel your order, please do so within 60 minutes of receiving your order confirmation email. Cancellations cannot take place once we have dispatched your order. An order that has been cancelled, redirected or refused, at the customer’s request may incur an additional charge.

If your order is no longer required please contact RMA Sport on 01656 674488 (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. weekdays) to request a cancellation.

Return and Refund

Should you wish to return an order for a refund, we strive to make the returns process as simple as possible. If for any reason you are not happy with your product, due to damages in shipping or on delivery you must contact RMA Sport within 48 hours of receiving your order.

You have the right to return your order within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods. After this period, we cannot accept any returns or issue any refund. To initiate a return and refund for your order, you must contact us 01656 674488 (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. weekdays) or email sales@rmasport.com to notify us of your decision.

Personalised items can not be returned.

RMA Sport will only accept a return and offer a refund if the entire product remains unused, undamaged and in the original packaging. If the product(s) are not in their original condition and packaging, RMA Sport reserves the right to refuse any product returns or refunds.  We may charge for the repair or replacement of any product.

We encourage you to inspect your order upon arrival.   Additionally, if we find that necessary packaging is missing, then we reserve the right to charge £80.00 fee to repackage the product(s).

Additional Returns & Refunds Information

  • A £1000 deposit is required before we begin building the wheelchair.  The balance is paid when the chair has been completed.
  • RMA Sport Made To Measure products are manufactured to the customer’s specific requirements through two unique fitting sessions.
    • The first through our bespoke Contour Body Mapping system.
    • The second that actually allows the customer the opportunity to physically try out their chair prior to it being finalised.
  • On completion of the second fitting session the customer is asked at this time to sign off their chair, to confirm they are 100% satisfied with the specification and quality.
  • Any further work or modifications that may potentially need to be done after this will be chargeable to the customer.
  • Please note; the Made To Measure product has been specifically designed to the customer individual requirements and as a result it cannot be resold therefore no refund is available.

Cancellation and Returns

You have the right to return your order at your own expense within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods.  (This does not apply to personalised or made to measure products.)   After this period, we cannot accept any returns or issue any refund. The product will be evaluated on its return to RMA Sport. If the product has not been used, and is in new condition, then a refund will be issued. However, if on inspection the product has been used or damaged then a deduction will be taken from the refund. You will be advised on the amount and reasons why this has happened.

Depending on the wear, this loss in value could be up to 50% of the price of the item. Additionally, if we find that necessary packaging is missing, then we reserve the right to charge £80.00 fee to repackage the product(s).

You may return your product, in the original packaging, within the 14-day period.  Personalised or Made to Measure products excluded.

  • Arrange your own return delivery to RMA Sport. We would recommend you choose signed/recorded delivery and keep the receipt safe as a reference.

Properties with limited access

If you live in an apartment, flat, a dwelling that does not have ground floor access or a property that may be difficult to access, we strongly recommend selecting the specialist Home Assembly Service option at checkout. This service is specifically designed to handle challenging delivery situations, ensuring that your product is delivered safely and efficiently to your door. Choosing this option helps avoid potential complications and ensures a smooth delivery experience.  Please call 01656 674488 to speak with our customer service team about our Home Assembly Service.

If delivery of the product is refused by the customer and returned to the factory, an £80 shipping fee will be incurred. This fee will be automatically deducted from any refund issued once the product is returned to us. It is important to note that this charge is necessary to cover the costs associated with the failed delivery and return process.

Privacy Policy

When placing an order with RMA Sport, we ask for your name, e-mail address, telephone number, and delivery address. These details enable us to get your order to you efficiently and notify you of your order status. RMA Sport also asks for you to select your preferred contact method in the event of any problem with your order.

Unless specified, RMA Sport may also use the information notify you of news relating to services, special offers or the addition of new mobility products. If you prefer not to receive these notifications or invitations, please contact us or send an e-mail to sales@rmasport.com.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold on you and to have any inaccuracies corrected.

RMA Sport reserves the right to store shopping pattern data to provide a better online experience for our customers. We do not save credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties. Customer data is secure and strictly for the use of RMA Sport only.

VAT Exemption

In the UK, individuals purchasing personal mobility equipment may be entitled to VAT exemption under certain conditions. This exemption is specifically designed to support individuals with disabilities, ensuring they can afford essential mobility aids without the burden of added tax costs. To qualify for VAT exemption, customers must have a chronic illness or a disabling condition that significantly impairs their mobility. This includes conditions such as arthritis, multiple sclerosis, or injuries that affect walking ability. Furthermore, the item must be intended for the personal and domestic use of the disabled person. By exempting VAT on these purchases, the UK government aims to enhance accessibility and independence for individuals facing mobility challenges, thereby promoting greater inclusivity and quality of life.  Note: Not all products offered by RMA Sport are eligible for VAT Exemption.

If you or the person you are buying on behalf of is eligible for VAT Relief, please complete the VAT Declaration Form at the checkout. By submitting a completed VAT exemption for you agree to the following: You are a registered charity, are chronically sick or disabled or the products are being purchased on behalf of an individual who is chronically sick or disabled. The product supplied by RMA Sport is for personal or domestic use. You claim that the supply of the product is eligible for relief from VAT under the VAT Act 1994.
