Advancing Wheelchair Fencing.

Our Fencing Wheelchair brings together practical design, adaptability and athlete-focused innovation to support greater accessibility in fencing. Developed as part of the RMA Sport product range, it is designed to accommodate the diverse needs of wheelchair fencing athletes in club and training settings.

Working in collaboration with British Fencing, the GB Fencing support team and athletes, we gathered feedback through an extensive programme of research and development, prototyping and live testing. This process helped refine the design, resulting in a fencing wheelchair built around practicality and adaptability.

The result is a versatile fencing wheelchair designed for use by multiple athletes in a club environment, offering clubs a flexible option for supporting inclusive, accessible wheelchair fencing.

Designed Around the Athlete.

Our Contour Body Mapping System (CBM) enables us to create bespoke wheelchairs tailored to the individual needs of each fencing athlete. Unlike traditional tape measurements, which can vary and offer limited insight into how a wheelchair will feel in use, CBM provides a detailed assessment of body position, support and the athlete’s interaction with the chair. At our dedicated facility in Bridgend, South Wales, our team uses this system to help achieve a precise fit, with a focus on comfort, stability and performance.
