Innovation in Wheelchair Fencing.

Our Fencing Wheelchair represents an important step forward in accessible fencing, combining practical design, flexibility and athlete-focused innovation. Developed as part of the RMA Sport product portfolio, it is designed to meet the varied needs of wheelchair fencing athletes in club and training environments.

Working closely with British Fencing, the GB Fencing support team and athletes, we gathered valuable feedback throughout an intensive programme of R&D, prototyping and live testing. This collaboration helped us refine the design and create a fencing wheelchair that is both practical and adaptable.

The result is a versatile fencing wheelchair suitable for multiple users within a club environment, providing a flexible solution for clubs looking to support inclusive and accessible wheelchair fencing.

CLUB Wheelchair Fencing FEATURES.

Tailored to the Athlete.

We use our Contour Body Mapping System (CBM) to create bespoke wheelchairs tailored to each fencing athlete. Unlike traditional tape measurements, which can vary and cannot show how a chair will feel, CBM provides a precise assessment of the athlete’s body position, support and interaction with the chair. At our dedicated facility in Bridgend, South Wales, our team uses CBM to ensure every chair delivers the highest levels of accuracy, comfort, stability and performance.
