The Made to Measure Wheelchair Build Process
Thanks for considering RMA Sport. You may have already received your formal Made to Measure quote and are wondering what happens next?
- A £500.00 deposit is taken before the 1st fitting which will secure your chosen fitting date and also activate the build programme.
- The balance is paid when the chair is completed and ready for delivery.
The Made to Measure range is developed using the following process –
- Made to measure frame that is designed by using Contour Body Mapping – this consists of utilising a unique patented fitting system that enables RMA to record an individual’s optimum seating position and measurements.
- Spinergy wheels are fitted as standard.
- All chairs are made in Great Britain, at our facility in Bridgend, to the highest quality. This includes using aircraft grade 7020 aluminium in the construction of the frame.
Shipping
Orders valued over £100 ex-vat are delivered free of charge to mainland UK.
Orders valued under £100 ex-vat will incur a delivery charge of £5.95 for small items and £9.99 for larger items.
Deliveries will normally be made to mainland UK within 5 days of receipt of your order.
Deliveries to The Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Northern Ireland will be subject to an additional delivery charge.
International Shipping
Shipping larger items to Europe will incur a £40 charge. Where as the shipping of small items will incur a charge of £15. We can arrange international deliveries outside of Europe using TNT and other international couriers and prices depend on the country we are shipping to, size, weight and the distance involved, we can provide delivery quotes to most destinations worldwide.
